Every donation, every hour you volunteer โ it all goes directly to the people and communities that need it most.
We believe lasting change happens when communities lead their own transformation. Here's how we make it happen.
When disaster strikes, our volunteers mobilize within 24 hours โ delivering relief kits, medical aid, and shelter to families who need it most.
We run open-air classrooms and sponsor tuition for rural children, ensuring financial barriers never stand between a child and their dreams.
Community kitchens and food drives provide hot, nutritious meals to undernourished children and families in the most underserved districts.
We work hand-in-hand with district leaders, local organizations, and community elders โ not around them โ to drive sustainable change.
Every rupee is tracked and reported. Donors receive detailed breakdowns of exactly how their contributions create impact on the ground.
We build self-sustaining programs that empower communities to continue thriving long after our direct involvement ends.
When disaster strikes โ floods, fires, or sudden crises โ ACD mobilizes within hours. Our volunteers are on the ground delivering essential supplies, temporary shelter, and medical aid to families who have lost everything overnight.
We work hand-in-hand with local administration and community leaders to ensure no family is left behind. Our relief kits include food rations, clean water, medicines, blankets, and hygiene essentials โ reaching the most vulnerable first.
Education is the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty. ACD runs open-air classrooms, provides school supplies, and sponsors tuition for children in rural Uttar Pradesh who would otherwise never see the inside of a classroom.
Our tutors โ many of whom are local college students โ teach literacy, numeracy, English, and life skills. We also provide uniforms, bags, and notebooks so that financial barriers never stand between a child and their dreams.
Hunger is not just about food โ it robs children of their ability to learn, play, and grow. ACD runs community kitchens and food distribution drives that provide hot, nutritious meals to undernourished children and families in the most underserved districts.
Our volunteers cook and serve fresh meals using locally sourced ingredients. During festivals and special occasions, we organize large-scale drives that feed hundreds in a single day. We also partner with local farmers and grocery shops to reduce food waste and maximize reach.
On the ghats of Prayagraj, hundreds of boatmen families live along the river โ their children growing up without access to schools, books, or teachers. These families earn daily wages ferrying pilgrims and tourists, with no means to afford formal education. ACD stepped in to change that story.
We operate a dedicated school for boatmen's children right on the banks of the Ganges in Prayagraj. Our volunteer teachers โ many of them local college students โ teach Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, and life skills. We provide everything: uniforms, notebooks, stationery, school bags, and most importantly โ hope. For these children, our school is the first step toward a life beyond the riverbanks.
What makes our program unique is that we go where the children are. Instead of expecting families to send their kids miles away, we set up learning spaces near the ghats โ making education accessible, familiar, and free of cost.
A hungry child cannot learn. Through our partnership with Swiggy, we provide freshly prepared, hygienic mid-day meals to every child at our school โ every single day. Balanced meals including rice, dal, sabzi, roti, and seasonal fruits are delivered hot and fresh, ensuring no student has to choose between hunger and education.
Everything you need to know about supporting ACD and how your contributions make a difference.
Every rupee you donate goes directly to our programs โ emergency relief kits, children's education materials, and community kitchen meals. We maintain radical transparency: donors receive detailed breakdowns showing exactly how their contributions were utilized. Our operational costs are kept below 10%.
ACD currently operates across 12+ districts in Uttar Pradesh, with our headquarters in Lucknow. Our flagship project is a dedicated school for boatmen's children in Prayagraj, on the banks of the Ganges. We're actively expanding to new districts each year.
